As a fully accredited ambulatory surgery center, we have met the rigorous requirements to receive this accreditation. Joint Commission standards address our center’s performance in ambulatory surgery, and specify requirements to ensure that patient care and services are provided in a safe manner. The Joint Commission’s accreditation process concentrates on operational systems critical to the safety and quality of patient care. This accreditation provides structure to our ambulatory surgery center from leadership and patient safety to infection control, performance improvement and emergency management.
